Are you 18 and older and/or a university student?
Since 2002, thousands of university students from across North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia have participated in ISV’s University Programs.

Last year (2007) students from over 600 universities (world-wide) participated on an ISV program. While participants don’t actually have to be current student in order to participate, the vast majority of participants are 18 and above.
With the exception of a few pages which are specific to ISV’s High School Program, all other pages on our website relate to the university program. Every host country and every departure date listed is thus available to anyone 18 and older who is ready to make a difference and take on an exciting challenge to travel overseas and volunteer with us.
In addition, many students have used ISV as a way to broaden their academic experience by using the program to obtain university credits. Please see our Academic Credit page if you’d like more information on this option.
Program options:
Most students on the ISV university program will participate in the standard program that is 2 weeks on a volunteer project and 2 weeks on the amazing adventure tour.
Other students may choose to add additional volunteer projects after their 4 week program or those on a time budget may elect to complete just a 2 week volunteer program with no adventure tour.
“I can't put it into words. I will never forget what I learned, who I met, and experiences. This was the best experience of my life, everything and everyone were so professional accommodating and helpful.” Jacquelyn Denker, Arizona State University. [Costa Rica]
