ISV's price for the OAP 2010-11 season is $270.00 NZD
The purpose of the Optional Activity Package (OAP) is to provide you with even more activities to enrich your experience in Thailand. We are able to receive excellent prices for these activities, much less expensive than what you could receive if you booked on your own. In addition, the booking will be taken care of for you by your ISV staff so all you have to do is show up and be ready for some adventure! Each year, more than 90% of all ISV participants enjoy the benefits of the Optional Activity Package. Please note that this OAP is offered in addition to the 5 included ISV Activities.
The ISV OAP includes:
White Water Rafting – Mae Taeng River
Ride the rapids on the Mae Taeng River in Thailand’s North. Our expert river guides will guide you through some of the challenging class 3 - 4 rapids with stunning local scenery and landscapes.
Thai Cooking School – evening cooking class
Learn to cook up to five authentic Thai dishes! Our local Thai cooking school in Chiang Mai will assist you in learning how to use all the spices and fresh ingredients of traditional Thai recipes. Finish the evening by tasting your newly developed Thai cooking skills!
Traditional Thai Massage
Enjoy a very relaxing Traditional Thai Massage in a professional massage centre. The massage centre caters to large numbers of people with massage chairs and tables in an open setting. An authentic Thai experience.
Bangkok Discovery Sightseeing
Explore by long-tail boat the khlongs, homes and lifestyles of Bangkok’s waterways. Visit the impressive Wat Phra Kaew & Grand Palace. Also known as the “Temple of the Emerald Buddha”, Wat Phra Kaew adjoins the Grand Palace, the former residence of the Thai monarch. You will be able to see some of the magnificent sculptures, paintings and treasured artifacts of the Thai Buddhist culture.
Khao Sok National Park Lake Tour
Enjoy a full day exploring the magnificent towering cliffs and islands hidden throughout the lake deep in Khao Sok National Park. The jungle that is present all the way to the waters edge is considered to be one of the oldest in the world. You will travel by boat into the hidden inlets, caves and islands within the Lake, which is home to many splendid birds, such as hornbills, gibbons, and some of Thailand’s rare wildlife such as the Asian elephant and leopard.
